This type of coaching is based on the books “Gut and Psychology Syndrome” and “Gut and Physiology Syndrome”, both written by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride.
GAPS is a healing protocol, through diet and supplements, to heal the gut and with that a large variety of health problems.
First I want to let you know that I am not a GAPS Practitioner yet. This is still on my list of trainings that I want to do. But that said, I do have a lot of experience with GAPS as we did it with our family from 2009 onwards. We all gained a lot from it, the results were astounding.
Therefore I offer coaching for people / families who are doing or going to do GAPS, be it with the help of a GAPS practitioner, which is to be preferred, or on their own.
People who are following the GAPS healing protocol to achieve gut healing.
To keep you on track with the steps that you take while doing the GAPS protocol. Some of you will want to start with full GAPS first and then work their way back to Intro. Others want to cliff dive and right away start with Intro. Whichever way you choose, we will discuss each month which steps you have taken successfully in the last month and which steps you are planning on taking in the coming month. That way you will be kept on track of you plans. We can work out a full plan of what steps you want to take when.
The coaching will help you stay on track. You have email access to me between our appointments, so you can talk to me about issues you have. In general I think 1 meeting a month is likely enough, but when you feel the need for more frequent meetings, this is no problem at all.
I will help you learn how to make GAPS legal foods and how to make a meal plan. I will help you source supplements, etc.
As GAPS heavily relies on broth and variety of fermented foods it is very important to learn how to make these. It’s not difficult, but most people have not been exposed to homemade yoghurt or sauerkraut and homemade meat stock or bone broth.
So your biggest benefit is that I have been through it with my whole family of 6 and have learned how to make all these foods and know the tricks on how to make it easily and how to easily implement all of it into your normal daily routine.
